Ian was a Senior Audit Partner of Burke Bond Partners Chartered Accountants Group until 1997 and is now the Responsible Manager of Oscar Oliver Capital. The practice at Burke Bond Partners Chartered Accountants Group was multi-faceted and the company provided auditing services to a wide range of manufacturers, service industry, and property clients.
Summary of Experience
In 1997, with Corporations Law trending to increase Corporate Governance, Compliance and Managed Investments regimes, Ian established the Burke Bond Securities Group, which practised Australia-wide as independent professional service providers in Corporate Governance, Compliance, Internal Audit, and ASX compliance. The Group was an ASIC-approved Prescribed Interest Trustee under Corporations Law until 2005 managing some 20 Prescribed Interest public trusts, transitioning under Chapter 5c, Corporations Law.
